Micks Garage Soapbox Derby Race

The nice people over at MicksGarage.com organised #MicksSoapbox race on November 2 at the Shanks Mare pub in county Meath. There were two timed runs followed by head to head races with the loser going out. It was a cracking event with about 25 soapbox teams entered. CregorNews was in with the Ronnie Beck Allstars in the AC Cobra 'Hotlips' and while we didn't win had a most enjoyable day out in fact it was the best entertainment we've had all year. Some competitors took things a bit too seriousily for a fun event.
All monies raised went to the Jack and Jill Foundation, a most worthy cause
